Bill: Drugs Freedom Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Lodamun Greens Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2463

Description[?]:

The negative stigma associated with drug use, in the oppinion of the ELA, is a tool of fear mongering used by some to keep the populace under their thumb. The government have no right to decide what someone can or cannot put into their bodies, by liberating the drug policy, like many countries before us, it is highly probable that in the long run the percentage of drug users throughout Lodamun will decline. The ELA encourages all parties to participate in this debate and make their position and reasoning clear, upon this (hopefully constructive) debate a proposal will be introduced to vote.

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically

Random quote: "What are you trying to protect heterosexual marriages from? There isn't a limited amount of love in Iowa. It isn't a non-renewable resource. If Amy and Barbara or Mike and Steve love each other, it doesn't mean that John and Mary can't." - Ed Fallon
