Message | Again, we don't like the format of the bill options. Nevertheless, the Rutanian courts have already interpreted "set standards" as MALICIOUS (false) advertisement b/c if the Gov't sets any other type of standards, that would conflict with the Nation's FREE (commercial) SPEECH laws. So, in essence, ALL advertising is permitted except FALSE advertisement for obvious reasons. |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
Random quote: "The moral justification of capitalism does not lie in the altruist claim that it represents the best way to achieve 'the common good.' It is true that capitalism does, if that catch-phrase has any meaning, but this is merely a secondary consequence. The moral justification for capitalism lies in the fact that it is the only system consonant with man's rational nature, that it protects man's survival qua man, and that its ruling principle is justice." - Ayn Rand |
