Message | This is an ILLOGICAL bill. NOTHING is free. If telephone lines or school lunch gets "free" at the expense of the State--which is a PUBLIC TRUST of "We the PEOPLE"--that means that EVERYONE's taxes will go up b/c the people are paying for it. Because of the laws that former President Christian E. Savage passed into law during his 4-year tenure, people's standard of living is ABOVE average as evident by the Consumption component of Rutania's GDP to be over 70%. Btw, consumption spending in the economy is measured by economists as the purchase of DURABLE goods or goods and/or services that last 3 or more years. The economy is fiscally sound except for the lag of business INVESTMENT. However, the irony of this bill is that it will take the INCENTIVE away from business to invest in phone service companies since telephones have become SOCIALIZED. |
