Message | Nationalising our defense industries will do nothing to protect Dorvik, nor will it prevent weapons smuggling. The Technocratic Nationalist Party is firmly against this bill. |

Message | We think that this will prevent smuggling because if the central government has control of all the weapons produced in Dorvik will be easier to track them and see where are they going. |

Message | If the central government has control of all Dorvish weapons production, it could become very easy for smugglers to operate without detection, given the right conditions. All it would take is a few corrupt government officials in positions of authority. Besides, nationalising Dorvik's businesses will make our country very unattractive to foreign investors, and will gradually destroy our economy. |

Message | I would like to point out that also leaving the weapons in the hands of businesses all it would take is a few corrupt or unethical people and they would be smuggling weapons. At least with this bill there is an extra level of protection to prevent people who shouldn't have unauthorized firearms. Also on your other point it's not like the whole country's corporate sector is nationalized. There is still plenty of breathing room for any good investor. |

Message | We are well aware that private entities are just as prone to corruption as the government; however, our point is that a high-ranking government official, with access to government records, can keep something hidden for a very long period of time. |
