| The Democratic Workers' Party propose to adjust the government's income tax policy to better address the economic situation of the Axis Mundi Likatonian Res Publica. The Finance Minister Frederika Falchetka's statement is as follows, "Married with the newly-drawn budgetary investment proposal, this taxation bill perfectly deals with cutting governmental financial waste. We propose to eliminate the lower income tax bracket, and merge the middle and upper tax brackets to a reduced rate of 4%. Even after this we will have just over a sixtieth of the revenue surplus we currently maintain; ample enough money for emergency allowances." |

| Message | Not only do we believe the income tax is unfair, but it is an insignificant portion of our budget. However, this bill cuts income tax off of the backs of the poor, and reduces the total unnecessary income tax. Not what we want, but this is a good first step. We vote yes. |
