| This reform is aimed at giving local governments more power to combat specific problems relating to illegal aliens in their area. If illegal aliens became a problem in one area, that local government could introduce strong povisions to stop the problem, while not forcing those same provisions on other areas of the country. The law gives our local governments more tools to maintain the security of their area, while not forcing any upon them if they are uneeded. |
