MessageThe job of an Intelligence Agency is to gather intelligence about any and all topics of concern to the Government, both foreign and domestic. If we concern ourselves solely with the simple foreign tasks of counterintelligence and surveillance then we merely "pick the low-hanging fruit," leaving a great deal of important information untouched. We should endeavor to understand our neighbors as well as we understand ourselves.
