Message | As usual, the AMSuDP put manage a step forward but fail to go the distance. While the sentiment is somewhat agreeable the execution is half hearted. We support, if only to give the liberal whiners something to complain about. Immerson would roll over in his grave. We think maybe a few MacArthur Park style debates are in order. |

Message | We thank the LFF, but we do wonder how the obviously resurrected One True God can do anything in 'his grave'... much less roll over? |

Message | Article 1 counters the very same bill you previously proposed. The current state of civil service is your invention. Also, there is no way I would vote for your current proposal. Article 2 actually hurts the security of Likatonia by giving the enemy men they need to fight us with. Articles 3 and 4 seriously hurt freedom. If the Likatonian people wish to remove us, all power to them. So far as to FOREIGN subversives (as I believe domestic subversion should be legal), there is no way they would succeed; the Likatonian people would unite and counter their attempts. Besides, we are much too powerful to be overthrown by the foreigner minorities. |

Message | Article One may counter previous legislation by members of the party currently called the Axis Mundi Sturm und Drang Partei. This is indeed possible. But then, this party has - in one form or another - been proposing legislation within this nation for several hundred years. It is likely we have changed position a number of times on various issues. Article Two does, indeed, re-distribute the men the enemy needs to fight us. Which means that our enemies then have to pay to accomodate them. And to re-train them. And to re-equip them. And to redeploy them. It means we don't have to waste valuable men and equipment preventing POW's from escaping. It means we don't have to worry about the threats to our own security, that are inherent in housing trained enemy combatants within our borders. It means that we can actually place fifth-columnists within an enemy nation, should we so desire. We see no real downside to this plan. Regarding the Liberta Parti position on domestic subversion... we had not expected such a blatant display of treachery. "If... ...people wish to remove us, all power to them", "I believe domestic subversion should be legal", "we are much too powerful...". Your words of treason shall be remembered. |

Message | (1) We could always kill all POWs on sight if that is your argument against holding POWs. (2) To the contrary, siding with yourself and the state over the will of the people is the real treachery. If the Likatonian people wanted to overthrow us, to stop them would be the ultimate betrayal. A nation is much more than its government! |

Message | 1) If the Liberta mob thinks that is anything resembling our argument, they completely failed to understand it. 2) Siding with rebellious elements, over the elected government IS treachery. Siding with rebellious elements, over the rest of the Likatonian population, IS treachery. The Liberta Parti are dangerously close to electing themselves as 'enemies of the state'. |

Message | "Siding with rebellious elements, over the rest of the Likatonian population, IS treachery." If this elected government got out of control and you still sided with it, I guess you'd be a traitor too. |

Random fact: It is not allowed to call more than 5 elections in 5 game years in a nation. The default sanction for a player persisting in the early election tactic will be a seat reset. |
