In the fight against global warming, nuclear power is our best bet. It is cheap/clean and puts out very little carbon, while safley providing large amounts of energy to our citizens. We should place an even greater emphasis on nuclear power as part of our energy plan, in order to protect our environment.

Nuclear fission, the only kind we currently have is incredibly dangerous and produces massive amounts of radioactive waste that takes thousands of years to become safe.

Besides that requiring most energy to be produces by nuclear provides dangerous targets for enemies to hit.
