| Proposed by Senator Metternich of the Catholic Countrrevolutionary Party on the 10th of September, 2097 ================================================================= THE SENATE of the KINGDOM of LIKATONIA WHEREAS the current policy of the government allows for the destruction of innocent people at the discretion of their caretakers, RECOGNISING that all innocent human life in Likatonia must have the equal protection of the government, ALSO RECOGNISING that the destruction of the child in the procedure of abortion is unnecessary in the case of availibility of hysterectomies and similar procedures which allow the child to be sustained artificially outside of the womb, BANS the procedure of abortion, which is defined as either of the following: 1. A procedure whose purpose is to destroy the life of a human fetus 2. A procedure which beyond reasonable doubt will destroy the life of a human fetus EXPLICITLY BANS the removal of a child from the uterus before 140 days of gestation which would normally be accomplished under the conditions of abortion definition 2, but has been enumerated here for clarity in prosterity. |
