Bill: Freedom to OWN Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Kapitalist-Arbeitsfamilien Partei
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2467
Description[?]:
First and foremost, this legislation CLEARLY upholds Likatonia's COMMON-SENSE policy that the military produce its OWN weapons and military equipment as to dramatically cut COSTS!!! However, it simply amends the current law to respect Likatonian Citizens INALIENABLE right to start and own their own defense industry. In fact, if we allow private defense companies to exercise their property-rights, they might can produce military arms for our soldiers at a CHEAPER price than the State's industries. Thank you for your full support. |
Proposals
Article 1

Message | The CWFP might get lucky. The AM RLP are pretty extreme on libertarian ideals, and they currently hold a particularly strong hand. There are a number of very good reasons to keep all defence matters in the hands of the government.. but this matter won't be decided on those, not this term. |

Random fact: Particracy allows you to establish an unelected head of state like a monarch or a president-for-life, but doing this is a bit of a process. First elect a candidate with the name "." to the Head of State position. Then change your law on the "Structure of the executive branch" to "The head of state is hereditary and symbolic; the head of government chairs the cabinet" and change the "formal title of the head of state" to how you want the new head of state's title and name to appear (eg. King Percy XVI). |
Random quote: "When we allow freedom to ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual, 'Free at last! free at last! thank God Almighty, we are free at last!'" - Martin Luther King Jr. |
