Details
Submitted by[?]: Democratic Workers' Party and CTUL List
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2467
Description[?]:
This bill orchestrates the establishment of a unitary Likatonian National Bank, and encourages the devolution of the current banking system to a community-based level. This bill looks towards consecutive legislation outlawing the private manipulation of the wealth of private individuals altogether, as it is underhand, dishonest and self-serving by nature. As such, this bill considers itself a "bridging" law. |

Message | OOC: I just realised it talks about the government owning a plurality of banks, whereas I'd read it as one single bank. Please ignore this minor detail! |

Message | I have to say no to this bill, even though a government should regulate how money is passed around, it should not control it's citizen's money. |
Date | 21:47:40, October 07, 2007 CET | From | Kapitalist-Arbeitsfamilien Partei | To | Debating the Establishment of a National Bank |
Message | Adamantly opposed. However, we do support the establishment of a Central Bank with all others being private. |
