Bill: International Aid Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Democratic Workers' Party and CTUL List
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2467
Description[?]:
This bill will insure that other countries in need of Likatonian economic help will receive generous support from the Likatonian nation. The People must have their generous character reflected, and not portrayed as manipulative opportunists as the current policy would have make out. If Likatonia were in a state of dire needs, we too would hope that the international community would lend a helping hand whilst refraining from punishing us for our misfortune. |

Message | I agree to vote yes on this bill so long as we do not go around giving EVERY nation in need aid, we should only give nations that truly NEED the aid the aid needed. |

Message | The current law is fine and is actually MORE beneficial to 3rd World countries. The reason why they are poor is b/c Industrialize nations subsidize their inefficient agricultural commodities. Therefore, we just allow 3rd World countries access to our markets they can rise economically. |
Date | 17:07:42, October 08, 2007 CET | From | Commonwealth Workers Army | To | Debating the International Aid Act |
Message | That works, CWFP... we'll allow the 3rd world access to our markets so they can solve all their problems by buying... no, wait... they can't, can they. No money. The market is only god if you can afford to play. The aid we need to give isn't grain... it's training, education, safe water, good practice, sustainable supplies. |
