Message | We should encourage freedom of choice amongst our people. This is the parent’s responsibility! Alcohol is not inherently bad, over indulgence is. Over indulgence of anything is a problem, just take strong coffee for example which can cause serious side effects such as, shaking, shortness of breath, indecision, inability to concentrate, insomnia/inability to sleep. And as we all know sleep is extremely important to the public good and not getting enough can be dangerous (not to mention the other effects), so should the government regulate the coffee industry? Perhaps a warning label at the very least? We oppose the nanny state in all forms. |
