Bill: Government run sports clubs

Details

Submitted by[?]: Science and Environment Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2471

Description[?]:

There is no rational reason of having the taxpayers and government running and sponsoring sports clubs. These could be subsidised to enhance the peoples health but controlling them from the parlament and down is an unvise policy that reminds of east german broiler factories.

MessageWe believe the current program has enormous merit, and helps bring the costs of good health down by having government-subsidised gyms, sports teams and the like.

It also is a minor cost when compared to the great savings in healthcare spending that could be spent on caring for millions of sick, unfit Kazulians years down the track.

MessageWe support having private sports clubs, but in the interest of comprimise with the more socialist parties, we believe it'd be a better idea to have them run side-by-side with government funded clubs.

MessageGovernent run and owned sport clubs implicitly forbid our people to form start and run sport clubs. Where is the people's freedom of rights in that? What is the government protecting our ctizens from? What are the goals with this policy? Subsidised gym's, health programs etc is another issue and can still be in place. It has nothng to do with government owning and running sports clubs.

MessageI am a socialist I am simply stating that the government should really put more effort into the key issues of our country and our people and small things such as sport clubs could have some small business intervention. Do you have a problem with the views of my party?
