Message | But whats the point in issuing people with ID cards if they don't have to have them on them? I mean, people get passports anyway, so either have a proper ID system or get rid of the cards, they are useless and pointless and waste of govenremnt time, resources and money if they're to be left at home and never used. |

Message | We need as an ID system. Passports are not a proper one as they are not compulsory and cover only those who travel abroad. |

Message | "We need as an ID system. Passports are not a proper one as they are not compulsory and cover only those who travel abroad." Not every country have ID cards, there are many more forms of identity that you leave at home! LOL! So I stand by what I say: either have a propoer ID card system or get rid of them! |

Message | The US has ID's and Driver's Licences(which double as ID's) but you don't have to carry them around with you. Only when you need to use them do you have to have them. |

Message | Not exactly. You have them when you need them. That's exactly what its for right? Although, there would be times when you don't know you needed it, but .... oh well. |

Message | The United States doesn't have identification cards. They have permits which allow you to drive a car, or collect social security, or be employed. These have your personal information on them, but are not identification, but rather permits. |
