Bill: Agricultural Act 2097

Details

Submitted by[?]: Nationalist Freedom Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 2100

Description[?]:

At present, farm sizes are regulated.

In general, small farms are not profit making and the governemnt subsidises their income. Whilst I do not agree with this, I have to accept it as we must protect their products, which are strategic industries of national importance.

However, why shoudl the government step in the way of large farms? - Large farms are profitable, the governemnt doesn't have to subsidise them, because they make profits, the government actually gains in tax! - Plus seen as the farm is large, productivity is increased and our food stocks increase, so we could even end up exporting food, employment and wealth is rural areas is also created.

MessageWell, that's just about right. They take large farms and cut them up into smaller farms. I guess they give/sell the land to farmers.

MessageThey just take it away from farmers. big farms mean employment, as they ahve to hire people to do the tasks. Honestlyu, how can a Capitalist and a hummanist party onestly beliee that its capitalist and fair and a civil lberty to prevent agricultural businessmen and to take land away from people?

Seriously people come on. Give this country a chance in Business. Let the government allow agricultural entrepreneurs to exist.
