Bill: Identity Cards for Government officials
Details
Submitted by[?]: People's Party of TSS
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2469
Description[?]:
For now, identity cards are not given to citizens. It is proposed that citizens are given identity cards on a voluntary basis, so that government officials and people who work for the government can be identified as possible threats. Ordinary citizens won't need identity cards, but if they want they can get one. But, it is important to know exactly who works for the government, because this can minimalize possible threats. |

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there. |
