Message | Actually having it "legal and recognized" means they are not abused. They are included in the pension system and all such. The current law fights illegality and exploiting. And it is nowhere said they are women. |

Message | Come on, they are mainly women. I expected you to be agaionst the proposal. Do you honestly believe that its right for women to gom out and sell their bodies. Do you honestly believe that they accept credit cards etc.? |
Date | 23:28:04, August 19, 2005 CET | From | Kanjoran People's Party | To | Debating the Prostitution Act 2097 |
Message | Keeping prostitution as a legal and recognized profession is the only way to protect them from abuse. Otherwise, their pimps can beat them up all they want and they have no one to help them. They're afraid of the police, because their profession is illegal. |

Message | Also, and I'm willing to bet sociologists and criminal science professors would back me up on this, the spread of STD's would be more rampant in an illegal prostitution industry rather than on that is legal. |
Date | 17:09:06, August 20, 2005 CET | From | Nationalist Freedom Party | To | Debating the Prostitution Act 2097 |
Message | If the police did their jobs, it'd be rare, let it be illegal and it'd be rare. Now you have brothels and visible prostetution everywhere. Thats great to have round the cities. Why do you allow this but your against fully legalising casinos? |
Date | 22:38:41, August 20, 2005 CET | From | Secular Humanist Party | To | Debating the Prostitution Act 2097 |
Message | Because if prostitution is legal people will get exploited by pimps , while slot-machines rights are not among our concerns. |
Date | 03:36:50, August 21, 2005 CET | From | Kanjoran People's Party | To | Debating the Prostitution Act 2097 |
Message | If they had an option where Prostitution Businesses had to apply for a licence I would demand they apply for them. However, right now I simply want them to be legitimate, so they can share the rights of other Kanjorans. Notice I *am* for the legality of both. |
Date | 18:31:07, August 22, 2005 CET | From | Kanjoran National Party | To | Debating the Prostitution Act 2097 |
Message | Government regulation of prostitution ensures that prostitutes are protected under the law and safety regulations. For the record, I am also fully in favour of legalising casino's for adults. |
Date | 13:28:50, August 23, 2005 CET | From | Nationalist Freedom Party | To | Debating the Prostitution Act 2097 |
Message | Good KNP, I'll propose the fully legalise casinos bill then. |
Date | 13:54:03, August 23, 2005 CET | From | Kanjoran People's Party | To | Debating the Prostitution Act 2097 |
Message | Casinos are already legal for adults. There's nothing wrong with requiring they have a licence. |
