Message | The existing 4% tax on over 30,000 is raising 2,247,294,536 LIK; we have a current surplus of 5,796,890,603 LIK. Therefore, we cam remove the last vestige of the triple taxation system of taxing income when it is produced at the corporate level, when it is distributed as an income tax, and when it is spent as a sales tax and set it down to only double taxation. |

Message | Although we believe that Middle class and poor families should pay NO INCOME TAXES, this bill takes tax obligation away from the wealthy. We believe that all families making what is equivalent to $100,000 a year should pay a 20% Flat tax and everyone else below pays nothing. |

Message | AMSDP - 1% or 100% makes no difference as we have no tax base above 1,000,000 LIK. We only put that in because the mechanics of taxation requires at least one bracket. CWFP - As we currently have a high sales tax on non-essential goods and no tax on essential ones, the upper income families will be paying a much greater share of the taxes since their higher disposable income allows them more purchases of taxabel items than the poor and middle class. |

Message | We vote no. Would rather the Corporate tax on profits be reduced dramatically or abolished. |

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context. |
