Bill: Term Limits doing just that

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberty Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2470

Description[?]:

"I've personally found that the constant threat of a looming election had hindered my government's ability to remain efficient and meet the needs of the people.

Constant campaigning consumes a lot of time, and undermines the voters choice by distorting their opinion of the government. How can we expect voters to appreciate and sum up the job the government has done if once sworn in we're virtually back on the campaign trail?"

MessageOCC: Hmm, makes sense, though there's not much time to do anything as an actual government.

"I was waiting for the idiotic rhetoric from the NAM. An extra 12 months is not about to turn Zardugal into a dictatorship like your party would like to see.

It will merely give the State more time to deal with issues of running a nation such as Zardugal whilst dealing with stupid comments like this made by the opposition.

Pathetic."
