Message | So this was based on what? The number is arbitrary and is nothing more than social engineering rather than responsible government. The number of seats is already proportional to the population, increasing it only exact bureaucratic costs that the tax-payers will have to pay for. Just because you want to sneak in your buddies in the Federal Assembly doesn't mean you have the moral authority to do so! |

Message | We are not proposing this sneak anyone's buddies into our Assemblee. We believe that the size of our population demands a larger number of seats. For most of the three hundred years we have been in politics in Jelbania, the number of seats was 501. |

Message | It still doesn't make sense. Why 225? Why not 301? Why not 750? At least 501 and 100 can be both backed by originalist arguements. |

Random fact: When you join the game, you will find yourself with only zero seats. That's because your party's representatives haven't been elected yet. You need to establish your party's position on issues by proposing several bills that your party wants passed and sending them to vote. This raises your visibility and if you do it enough, you will win seats at the next election. |
