MessageAnd so the league repeat the folly of the last election, for each compromise they make they further dash their chances to regain their once valued majority.

MessageHey but the bill will pass since the griefing parties don't even bother to vote against it.

MessageIt very might do, but it might slide you towards regulation and allow for another Matty government.
and we disagree with 9. 10, 11 and 3, but will abstain from this bill for the same reason you should.
also, your abstaining might stop this from passing if the other parties continue current stance.

MessageYou're wrong. Visibility is based on marginal agreement. The proposals above don't have to be total free-market to slide you, they just have to be a more free-market alternative than the current law. True it won't slide you as far, but it is still a positive number.

You may think by abstaining you can just ignore it without consequence, but the game doesn't work that way. Abstaining not only wipes your visibility for these bills, but wipes your most recent actions in the same categories. What that means is abstaining can change your public opinion, depending on how recently your public opinion has changed. Voting yes or no is always better than abstaining, unless you were unhappy with your most recent visibility shift and want to change it back.
