Message | Then you turn the military against the people. The Military exists to fight the enemies of the nation and the police to protect and the serve the people of the nation. If the Military are given the responsibilities of law enforcement they inevitably view the people as the enemies of the nation. Also the Military is illsuited to the task, Military training does not prepare for investigation, only will of force. The Military man is used to orders and Acts only against crimes already committed, The Police Force requires men highly skilled in the prevention of civil disturbances and the intelligence and logic to uncover the aspects of a crime committed. The Majority of the tasks of the Civilian Police cannot be carried out by Military Police without drastic long lasting consequences to the Nation and the ability of her Nationals to Trust in its Law givers and Law enforcement. |
