MessageThis will most likely not pass, but I would like to see where everybody stands on this.

MessageWe don't like your logic, or the bills you propose.

But we would allow you into the cabinet. You should gain seats in parliment first.

But one small seat can be permitted I guess. Why not?

MessageThe PSP does not understand the DN!'s logic on this point.
This deal, as the political situation stands, would add nothing to the coalition.

MessageTrue. So voting for or against nothing still leads to nothing. Why not just give the MDP a little ego boost if we can?

MessageWow, the DN sure is sounding cocky themselves....

MessageBecause we would rather take an issue as important as the construction of the government more seriously than using it to give any party "a little ego boost".
The current cabinet works, but after this year's election it will doubtless be modified depending on which coalition of parties can achieve a working majority - as usual. We see no point in modifying it this close to an election, particularly for such a frivolous reason.

MessageI just proposed the bill to see the reactions of the rest of you. This was really just to see yuor true characters, not at all to actually get a "little ego boost"...

MessageThe UPU believes that the largest party should serve as head of government. That's not us. We will certainly support a cabinet shuffle and possibly the admission of new parties after the next election, and that may well include the Majatran Democrats. Let the voters speak first, though.

(So based on that, what's my "true character? ;) )

Random fact: Submitting a bill without any proposals in it will not attract or detract voters. It will not raise your visibility or change your political position.
