Bill: Legislative Calendar Adjustment Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Democratic Rationalists (PrCoa)
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 2470
Description[?]:
This bill proposes to increase by six months the period of time between elections. OOC: The main reason to do this is to adjust the number of "real world" days between elections. Since there are 6 game months in a 24 hour day, right now, elections happen every six real world days. By increasing the time to 42 months, that means there will be exactly 7 days between each election. Elections would therefore be held on the same day each week, making it easier to remember exactly when elections are. |
