Message | Not fair and certainly anti-democratic. But, "this was"? |
Date | 09:53:03, October 14, 2007 CET | From | Kafuri Socialist Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of March 2470 |
Message | I voted against it, because the NAP said it was unfair. Which is correct. Anti-democratic? Why? Because I wanted to get this one passed quickly so I only included parties likely to be online soon? |

Message | Hm...if civil war does arrive, a cabinet will do nothing. Besides, someone will resign and we may face early elections. Media are free if you noticed. |

Message | Ah, yes the cabinet will. It will be used to determine how much of the national army sides with each side. Read the terms the NAP provided. Last three lines specifically. I believe there are 5 different parties in the cabinet right now. LDS, KPP, RGP, KSP and NAP. If all of those parties declare for the side I expect them to, the NAP will receive 20% of the national army. If this bill passes before the civil war bill voting ends, the NAP would receive nothing. Unless I misunderstood the terms. This bill is unfair because I expect the NAP to be outnumbered already and taking his 20% of the national army makes the numbers difference even worse. Any resignations should wait until after the war bill is passed/defeated. Why would we have early elections? It would be stupid of us (the leftists) to vote for early elections. |

Message | Would it be? Anyway, 20% certainly does matter. Let's have a realistic civil war if we are going to have a war at all. |

Message | Not really. I would still receive something because I would argue that I was in the cabinet when the bill was proposed, and simply because conditions change does not change the matter. |

Message | Eh, whatever. Doesn't matter now. |
