Bill: Higher Education Reform Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Kapitalist-Arbeitsfamilien Partei
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2471
Description[?]:
(1) This proposal raises the standard/bar of the education the Rutanian from 18 years of age (high school) to 21 years of age (college). We must send the message to the people that we want ALL of our citizens to go for the GOLD and get a college degree instead of a crappy high school diploma. (2) While the Federal Government should maintain its policy of fully subsidizing college tuition for poor and lower-middle class families, colleges and universities should NOT be managed by an INEFFICENT Federal bureaucracy but rather Local government. (3) While the Federal Government should definitely maintain its policy of fully subsidizing college tuition for poor and LOWER Middle-class families, Upper Middle Class Families and the RICH should not get any "blank check." They should take out loans. Thank you for your full support. |

Message | LFF, I thought you were the FASCIST party that believes in PRIVATE control of industry such as education(LOL)??? I don't think your Fascist base would appreciate you detracting from a privatization of the education system. |

Message | OOC: Fascism tends to be very much more regulating of the market than free-market. And particularly in terms of education - how can a private education system be trusted to indoctrinate children with Fascist beliefs? |
