MessageWe much prefer the current system, which was established following the demise of the NPP one-party state in the forties by proposals crafted by this party.

MessageWe back the TRP's position in this debate. The current system as is extant should remain. Let us remind our fellow Telamonese that too much democracy is not a boon but a possible curse.

MessageOOC: That might be true in the real world, but if you want to create an active gaming environment you're going to want a lot of elections often, and a lot of bills to mess around with. I'm just saying from experience.

MessageI am concerned with making the term length too short. Because bills take 8 months to vote on, there is a much smaller window of time to introduce legislation. If you change the term to 30 months, we will support this.

MessageAlright, 30 months is acceptable.

Random fact: The people in your nation don't like inactive parties. When you often abstain from voting for a bill, they will dislike your party and your visibility to the electorate will decrease significantly. Low visibility will means you are likely to lose seats. So keep in mind: voting Yes or No is always better than Abstaining.
