Bill: Travail, mon cherie, travail!

Details

Submitted by[?]: Union Pour Un Movement Populaire

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 2473

Description[?]:

Why can't our children work in environments that are both safe and conducive to later career oppurtunities?
I see no reason why children shouldn't be allowed to work if they so desire.
Providing that we regulate this field strictly, nothing could go wrong.

MessageCapitalist pigs! Children need to be educated, not put to work in the coal pits of greed and industry! Besides, children don't get much freedom anyways so we don't feel too bad about the restriction of liberties.

Random fact: Players who consent to a particular role-play by acknowledging it in their own role-play cannot then disown it or withdraw their consent from it. For example, if player A role-plays the assassination of player B's character, and player B then acknowledges the assassination in a news post, but then backtracks and insists the assassination did not happen, then he will be required under the rules to accept the validity of the assassination role-play.
