MessageFirstly, if we are going to "liberalise" the economy i think its important that we recognise every persons right to withdraw their labour.

The counter argument is "well then workers can go on strike for ridiculous demands and buisnesses will go out of buisness"
If a buisness dies, then so does the jobs it provides, and when welfare provisions in this nation are so poor, every person needs a job. People will not go on strike at the drop of a hat, because then they are not getting paid if they do. ONly serious matters are worthy of a worker forfeiting his pay.

this bill just gives workers :
A) The fundamental right to withhold their labour.
B) The ability to struggle in situations dire enough.
