Message | Since we have made it so that only an offical education can occur within a public school, private schools now have no purpose as they no longer provide any acreditation. They are like the appendix... |

Message | A state regulated faith-based curriculum should remain an option, if only so those poor children have their weekends to themselves and don't have to sit through Catechism classes since they can just take a Theology course at school. |

Message | No, a faith based cirriculum is now illegal. For good reason to, as religion and spiritial beliefs should not be incorporated into any function of the State, as it would produce fanatcism, polrization, and conflict! |

Message | We oppose a complete lack of private schools. |

Message | The IRP adds its support to a state-run education for all citizens of Ikradon, and shall vote in favour - we do however worry that should the Secular Democrats advocate such expensive programmes as the maintenance of a nuclear deterent - our state education may not have sufficient funding to prove effective. Assuming that all possible support will be lent by our government to the education of our nation - we vote aye. |

Message | I believe the SDP has completely missed the point, as we were pointing out that faith-based curriculums of private schools could be closely monitored and regulated by the state to ensure that at least the base minimum of state-required educational programmes are implemented. |

Message | Our Schools should not teach religion in a class-room, it is a private matter totaly seperate from education. We should not give it any more legitamacy then it deserves! |
Date | not recorded | From | Democratic Socialist Party | To | Debating the Suppression of Non-State Schools and Fanatic Beliefs |
Message | Contrary to what the SDP representative claims, religion should be teached in our classrooms. The children of our nation should recieve basic information on all religions of the world, to help them become more tolerant towards other people. |

Message | That is history, not a faith-based curriculum which is what PEP is suggesting... |
Date | not recorded | From | Progressive Pragmatists | To | Debating the Suppression of Non-State Schools and Fanatic Beliefs |
Message | There is a fundemential difference between teaching religion and teaching history/socal studies and our party is concerned that the DSP has confused that difference... |

Message | [Apologies, the linguistical barrier manifests itself again. In finnish 'teaching religion' can mean both teaching faith-based religion as well as history/social based studies on different religions. Please ignore my earlier post.] |
