Bill: Recreational Drug Use Reform
Details
Submitted by[?]: Democratic Workers' Party and CTUL List
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2473
Description[?]:
This bill proposes to restore the right of every citizen to put into their bodies what they like. It is our belief that the prohibition of drug use is flawed and doomed to fail; it can never be fully ceased. There is no reason why there should not be a government monopoly on all recreational drugs to ensure their purity and safety. This bill further proposes to create a government-run Recreational Drug Agency. |

Message | ADAMANTLY oppose: Drugs KILLS (PERIOD)!!!! However, we do support the RIGHT for citizens to consumer any sort of illegal substance (including cocaine and heroin) so as long as it is prescribed by a Medical Doctor and administered by a Licensed Pharmacist. |

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass. |
