Bill: Wartime Taxes!

Details

Submitted by[?]: Robotic Anarcho Syndicalistic Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 2474

Description[?]:

"With a war creating a need for an increased defense budget, we feel it necessary to add some tax brackets to provide more income to keep national debt to a minimum. We cannot allow national debt to get out of control, for if we do, we will cause our children and grandchildren to be forced to be waging the same war which we are currently fighting. Once the war is over, the increased numbers of brackets will allow for greater regulation of payments, and allow greater ability to tailored for the specific needs of all people of our glorious nation. Once this war ends, and the defense budget is able to be decreased, we fully expect all loyal members of this legislature to support and lobby for a reduced tax rate."
