MessageThis way it is completely free. You want to make it so people have to pay for energy.

MessageYes, I do want people to pay. People go to hard work to make energy, companies spend alot of money on construction to bring energy. The least they should expect is money in return for a service.

This bill also covers the welfare of low income earners to ensure they're able to afford their electricity without meddling with the market.

MessageNothing is free in life, CSA. It's squeezed and stolen from our hard working Dolgarians in the form of taxes. The government is awful at providing services, take a look at ANY socialist/communist country and find out for yourself. We are better off relying on specialized companies—prices will be lower when competition is present.

What, do you think they work and don't get payed or something? You have a complete upsidedown understanding of what a socialist economy is, FIRST of All. But you're right - money is best kept in the nation's treasury, were we monarchists are good at "looking after it." "No, I like laissez-faire stuff, I'm a libertarian - no taxes!" - You're right, let the 1% of rich society keep all the wealth, while the poor is stepped on each day not striving to get rich, wealth is out of the question, but striving to EAT.

MessageThis debate is about whether we should have a privatized system of energy generation and welfare assistance - not the plight of a socialist in the capitalits world.

This has nothing to do with ideology but what is actually in the best interest of Dolgaria.

To clarify my position, the companies spend money training and hiring trained staff to operate machinery and systems they have acquired with money to generate energy. Any person requiring this service should be expected to pay. The government's role here is to ensure that low-income earners still have access to that service through subsidization.

I don't believe that it is us 'non-socialists' that have an upside-down understanding, but however, it is the socialist's absurd idea that everything should be free.

Random fact: RP laws follow the same passing rules as in-game variable laws. Laws that are not of a constitutional nature require a simple majority "Yes" vote from active parties currently holding seats. Laws that are of a constitutional nature require a 2/3 majority "Yes" vote from active parties currently holding seats. RP laws may be abolished a simple majority vote this applies to ANY RP law.

Random quote: "A democracy that does not allow limits is not a democracy. Just as a limitless freedom is not freedom, but prevarication. Indeed, any theory of freedom worthy of this name is first of all a limit theory. If we extend the unlimited tolerance even to those who are intolerant, if we are not willing to defend a tolerant society against the attacks of the intolerants, then the tolerants will be destroyed and the tolerance with them! Because, I ask to myself and ask you, given a certain system that we call democratic, which is today the best possible system to allow everyone to live freely and to be able to express their own thoughts, how can the same system admit attacks against its integrity? How can a system refuse the principle of the self-preservation? For this reason, to suppress the apologetics of thalerrism, it's for this reason that the exaltation of exegetes, principles, facts or methods of Thallerism and its anti-democratic aims does not constitute a violation of the freedom of manifestation of thought, but, on the contrary, the celebration of that freedom. The protection of the first premise on which a modern democratic system is based. And this premise must be safeguarded also and above all against itself and its abuses." ~ Malik Astori, Leadership of Liberty and Progress (Istalia)
