Bill: Environmental Transport Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Democratic Workers' Party and CTUL List
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2476
Description[?]:
This bill proposes the gradual re-introduction of private automobiles back to Likatonia. We see no rational reason to deprive the People of private modes of transport providing it adheres to strict environmentally-friendly regulation (as determined by the Ministry of Environment and Tourism). While we still encourage the utilisation of Likatonia's extensive and free public transport system, we simultaneously recognise the need for private modes of transport: a Likabus or Likatrain simply cannot get one directly from door to door. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The government's policy concerning private cars.
Old value:: Private cars are not allowed.
Current: There are no regulations on the ownership of private cars.
Proposed: Only cars using environmentally friendly fuels are allowed.

Message | We concur with with the New Konservatives. While we are OPPOSED to blanket forcing of environmental cars, this is the "LESSER of the two evils." The two parties belonging to Immeressen's Communistic cult MUST get with the program: the People of Likatonia are CAPITALIST.....as evident by the recent elections!!!! |

Message | We are confused. The CWFP said that if they didn't win the last elections, they would leave. They didn't win. They didn't leave. We are actually glad of this, but it seems to be the tip of an iceberg. The CWFP further seems to be claiming that the People of Likatonia are Capitalists... despite the fact that the DWP was once again - resoundingly - elected to the highest spot. Indeed, the purest capitalist party in the nation, the Axis Mundi Radical Libertarian Party, pulled only 21 votes. |

Message | (1) First and foremost, we agreed ONLY to leave if the Convocation voted for the approval of the Quota-Removal bill; nevertheless, your coalition pleaded that you did NOT want us to leave b/c you enjoy our company. (2) The ONLY reason why the AM Libertarian party is steadily losing elections is b/c they are ABSTAINING from bills and the people HATE "unofficial" inactive parties. |
