Voting deadline: November 2477
Description[?]:
While we do not believe in forbidding people from buying video games because they are a certain age, we do feel that a content rating should exist, so that gamers no the basic content of the games they want to buy, or so grandparents can buy there 7 year old grandchildren video games without going into cardiac arrest when they see the video game being played. We propose the following labeling system be added to games, and games with multiple categories would have to show the content label for all categories that apply to the game. X-rated, having a heavy amount of sex, nudity and pornography involved. R-rated, having mild to moderate sexuality and nudity, as well as extreme gory violence. NC-17, has mild sexual themes, some nudity and moderate violence, including blood. T, having minor to mild sexual themes, no true nudity, mild to moderate violence. E, no or mild sexual themes, mild 'string bikini' use, mild violence. C, games meant specifically for children, generally those under the age of 10. |
