MessageI'd like to remind the unwilling parties that we have no president. We have no head-of-state. We have no government. Taking advantage of this government-less period to push through legislation is clealy a political abuse of power.

MessageWe support this as a matter of principle, but in reality it would not be horrible to wait for the elections in the spring of 2480. It is not a long while away, therefore we understand some our colleagues' reluctance in supporting this. Government can still function through the Assemblee.

Random fact: Parties have the ability to endorse another party's candidate for the Head of State election (if there is one). This adds a strategic element to the elections.

Random quote: "Religion, like capitalism, will perish in the end. We estimate the complete Terra-wide extinction of Hosianism as a religious belief by the year 4409, and in Dorvik by 4398." - Friedrich Pfeiffer, former Dorvish politician
