Bill: Fireworks Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Ducal Delegation

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 2100

Description[?]:

The present law outlaws fireworks, which is absurdly draconian. Local governments, responsible to local people, should have the discretion to determine what is allowed in their own regions.

MessageWe would rather our nation pursue a policy of " Professionals may run licensed fireworks shows, small fireworks are legal to the general public", since leaving it up to state governments will lead to the smuggling of fireworks across state lines, but we will vote for the bill as it stands.

MessageWe agree with the AoFP on this matter, but will vote yes for now, although we hope to see a change in this to the above mentioned instead soon.
