Message | After much internal debate within UCC, our party has decided to support this. Leaving the central government out of the business of providing welfare subsidies to people will strengthen and expand the non-profit, charitable, and faith-driven institutions that should be the main source for relief. |

Message | We strongly oppose, charitable institutions can't provide this subsidies everywhere. We hope that Ucc will reconsider his positions, in order to defend the social justice that DLJ proudly has in its platform. |

Message | We will not reconsider. In our view, social justice means the freedom and opportunity to move up the economic ladder. This does automatically transfer into a view that the central government should offer cash payments as an "opportunity." Rather, we believe it is the central government's role only to ensure that there are no barriers to opportunity (i.e. slavery, child labor, poor quality education). We understand and respect your point of view as democratic socialists. However, we generally believe that the central government should remain limited in scope. |
