Bill: Public Officials Act. Re: Religious symbols

Details

Submitted by[?]: Al'Badara Republican Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 2479

Description[?]:

This act allows public officials to wear religious clothes so be it that it does not cloud their judgement on any cases. Thus, a Sikh gentleman can wear his turban or our new premier who is a woman is allowed to wear a veil (OOC: I assume). This shows that we do not discriminate in government based on one's creed and also allows that most people who were religious clothing or jewelery are not always conservative or religious socially but are quite liberal socially like the vast majority of our great Al'Badara!

Random fact: Submitting a bill without any proposals in it will not attract or detract voters. It will not raise your visibility or change your political position.
