Bill: Prison Reform Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Communist Party of Solentia
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2480
Description[?]:
The capitalist brainwashing permeates every level of society! Even in prisons, people are being forced into a mindframe in which money and personal aggrandisment are the only morals required. We cannot allow this brainwashing to continue. We feel that prison, in order to rehabilitate fully, should focus upon prisoners giving back to their community and learning the pleasures of working to advance mankind as a whole, rather than being bribed with slight personal gain. |

Date | 09:41:02, November 02, 2007 CET | From | Communist Party of Solentia | To | Debating the Prison Reform Act |
Message | A change from the inhumane doctrine of callous cash transactions and into a society built on respect for fellow man is the wrong way? The Workers Party are showing their true colours as puppets of the capitalist class. |

Message | This, obviously, isn't a change from "callous cash transactions" into a "society built on respect for fellow man". It is a change from wage slavery into chattel slavery. Raffaela DeGrazia - Workers Party Senate Leader |

Message | We remind the Worker's Party that we are discussing prisoners, and not normal members of society. Rather than indoctrinate them in the ways of capitalism, we must indoctrinate them in the ways of collectivism. We would have thought this quite clear to an alleged leftist. |

Message | And you earnestly believe the bourgeois State will "indoctrinate" them in the ways of "collectivism"? Besides, prisoners are "normal members of society". Or does the "Communist" Party of Solentia believes that breaking the bourgeois law makes them "abnormal"? Raffaela DeGrazia - Workers Party Senate Leader |
