Bill: "Quite, I'm Privatizing": Food Industry Regulation

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberty Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 2481

Description[?]:

"Ladies and Gentleman of the National Directory, have you know shame? There was a time when we trusted our people to use their power as consumers to set the standards they want from business. Now central government bureaucrats tell the people what they want, and what business has to do.

Often, this means big business will have to deal with ridiculous anti-consumer regulation, and small businesses will never get off the ground.

I believe in recommendation to help business and inspire consumers, and voluntarism on the part of business, at the risk of losing consumers.

I urge the government of Zardugal to pass this legislation before the size of regulation and the government itself spirals out of control."

~Derror Crius, Liberty Party Chairman, introducing another bill drafted by his right hand man, Wade Kravant

Message"The Liberty Party makes one capital mistake again and again. They think that every individual acts rational in every situation. This means that they have to stay informed about every detail in order to prevent harm. It's an illusion that people can do this. Therefore we need basic rules to protect people from harm because the make mistakes, they act irration sometimes, but this shouldn't lead to death or serious harm." ~ Wilhelm v. Nassau
