Message | (1) This is a BLATANT violation of political freedom and of the Freedom of SPEECH; if citizens burn the flag, the fire loses control and burns property or something, that is one thing. However, if the Likatonian socialist & fascist voters who are furious at economic policies that the CWFP is trying to implement, do they NOT have right to protest our Administration via the symbolic burning of a piece of cloth??? (2) STRONGLY support b/c patriotism should be valued and respect in our schools. |

Message | Why would a socialist or facist that disliked CWFP policy... burn the flag? Burn the CWFP in effigy, that would make sense, maybe. Burning the flag would be unpatriotic and irrelevent. Also... CWFP policies aren't going to make anyone 'furious'. If the CWFP hates Likatonia, and doesn't value public opinion, that's fine. The Peoplw will deal with the CWFP... we aren't going to be getting 'furious' over it. |

Message | We have had our eyes set on a law banning the use of the national flag in a commercial capacity - something we find entirely improper. |

Message | We have modified the proposal so it is more in line with the AMDWP statements. Instead of banning desecration, we now are merely trying to stop our national flag from being used for commercial purposes. We hope this compromise (a rare word from the LFF) will be therefore now please the majority of the convocation. |

Message | (1) Citzens that maybe angry with CWFP policy, would burn the flag in a SYMBOLIC protest of my Administration (the GOVERNMENT); in a free and thinking democracy, the people show their love and patriotism to the IDEALS of democracy [right to vote, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, etc.] rather than to the corrupt democratic government that manipulated the people's passions to get into power. (2) We cannot support this bill b/c it is UNDEMOCRATIC to tell people what to do [sell Likatonian flags] in a free thinking democracy. |
