Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 2481
Description[?]:
*Fiddle walks outside the Chairman's Palace, beneath Al'Badara's flag. The Al'Badarian national anthem plays in the backround* "Enough! Too much has happened! God damnit people what has happened to our nation?! We have not one but two attempts for fascist overthrow? Thats two too many if you ask me! We can't allow this to happen. The IngSoc need to be stopped. They must all be killed, deported, arrested, reeducated, whatever is deemed necessary based on each memebers crimes. But it is important to note they are all guilty. They each have the abilitiy to stand up and say "No. No more of this killing and chaos." But they have not. They are weak. They have no spine. They are no longer an asset to this nation. You have seen the Movements record in the past. We have been nothing but open to suggestions, to freedom of all sorts, to preserving whatever each party deems most important to it. You may judge our actions and methods for achieving such things, but they were achieved. And now is not the time for past grudges and hatred to come into play. We must stop this threat. We must preserve the revolution. We must preserve Al'Badara. We have to keep our freedoms. Vote Yes and join the Movement in taking all action against this threat. Vote No, and I hope you have your own plan, because we are at war." |

Message | Major Jakob Chelns stood and stared fiercely at Fiddle "All of these things that you propose maximize your power indefinitely! You give the right to propose a cabinet only to yourself! You make the military under YOUR control the de-facto police! You even try to keep yourself in office for an extra year!" His eyes were alit with fury and he continued "Those that join this Movement may as well declare themselves openly the PUPPETS of D26M for that is all they shall be!" The former military commander sat down awaiting for another party ot Fiddle himself to speak. |

Message | The PCP did not assist the D26M's election to office so that they could burn the ladder behind them! We abhor this cynical move to plunge the nation back into dictatorship, and will not only vote against this bill, but also seriously consider our previous position of support for the D26M! |

Message | "I understand your concern. But you must see what is happening on the streets. The Movement only seeks to perpetuate itself until the IngSoc threat is eliminated. If you allow the status quo to continue, the IngSoc will rule this nation with equal dictatorial powers. They will have a dictatorship for themselves. A dictatorship of pain, misery, destruction, and death. The Movement only seeks a dictatorship of the proleterate. A dictatorship of working class heroes. We will accept any and all recommended proposals for Cabinet from all parties but the IngSoc. Peoples, you must understand the Movement only wants what is best for our Workers. The Military is currently under our control as is, this simply allows us to use it against the IngSoc. I promise you this. Pass this bill and we can help destroy the IngSoc. Once the powers of this is no longer deemend necessary, you may vote to return Al'Badara to normalcy. You could even impeach us. The votes are on your side. The Movement truly wants what is best for Al'Badara. Only you have the power to choose if we can wield it, and for how long." |

Message | "For years the D26M have promised that they would defeat the IngSoc, and the fascists. Never have they succeeded. D26M has attempted many plans, but they have ALL failed. Why should we put our trust in you AGAIN when each past time you have failed n ot only us, but the people we represent? We stand firmly against this." |

Message | No, we cannot support the anti-religious regime a moment longer. We will back a harsh military response to the IngSoc rebels, but the Chairman has abused his power and sinned against God. This cannot stand. |
