Bill: Revision of the death penalty
Details
Submitted by[?]: Konservativa Respublikano Parti
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill proposes the withdrawal from a treaty. It will require half of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 2482
Description[?]:
Given the recent occurrences in this fair state, we introduce this bill. The Rald Party normally would not condone the death penalty, but in the case of terrorists, people who wish to undermine the very fabric of our society, and who would kill innocent men, women and children, it is a fitting fate for them. However, to administer this fate, we have to withdraw from the International Agreement on Justice. The Rald Party feels that our elected officials can make laws for ourselves. |

Message | "As the man who orchestrated Zardugal's signing of this bill, I feel the greatest passion when I vote for the reversing of this great mistake. Those who kill their fellow men are animals who do not accept the fundamental individual right of life, and deserve death." ~Minister of Justice Julian Carrol |

Message | "Those who kill their fellow men are animals" At least one thing we agree on. And this is the reason that the death penalty should not be allowed in any country. To mtrzrv3 Party: The LP's goal is solely to bring in the death penalty. If you want this then vote yes (when the bill goes to voting), or if you don't want to kill your own citizens, vote no, |

Message | To quote the LP before they came to power: " A life sentence in virtual isolation for the most heinous of crimes is far more punitive then any death penalty. " |

Message | Personally I think it's rather fitting: people who want to terminate the existence of a state are terminated by the state. |
