Message | Not now, not ever, will I allow people to be subjugated to the tyranny within our country that is organized religion. - Sir Michael DuBoire |

Message | "Religion is no tyranny, religion is self-evident orientation born from freedom. Don't you realize that you establish the strongest and dumbest state religion of all when you ban every form of religion? You establish a blinded atheism!" Moses Friedman, obviously in rage |

Message | Man should follow his own beliefs, not those of some ancient document. Do you realize how many lives have been cost by religions? They disallow treatment for illnesses, they provoke violence upon others. I do not establish a blinded atheism, I establish a caring secularized humanist nation, one which cares for the people, not one that caters to the fundamentalists who would undermine men's thoughts with doctrination and cause more loss of life. Let science and reasoning lead the people, let them choose their own beliefs and paths, not have it forced upon them. - Michael DuBoire |

Message | "Don't you realize that actually the perceptions you praise (science ande reasoning, God shield us from bare success-orientated rationalism) are kinds of belief too? Belief comes before all other categorizations, belief lies outside of all rational reasons, belief enables to comment all the things we are confronted with. The decision of belief is made before all the estimation and evaluation of life facts. First a man determines his position concerning the world, living, mankind and moral values, the rest comes afterwards. [...] And do you really want to tell that atheistic societies have never done harm to people? Saying that churches have killed and have born hatred is an argument against institutions and against the spirit of an age, but not against belief as human fact. Do you want to ban pencils because some people use it to draw plans of bombs and weapons? [...] We do not want to force people, that is what you want, you force your science credulous atheism upon all the people. You accuse us of forcing belief upon the people? You ban every form of lived belief. And a belief that doesn't manifest is no belief. You claim that you want the people to chose their own beliefs but actually your legal system contradicts this your lip service ignominously..." Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
