Message | How can you decide what a stable environment is? I would rather a child be placed in care with a homosexual couple, rather than a couple who would abuse it. |

Message | Whilst we cannot guarantee that an environment will be entirely stable, a heterosexual couple raises much more assurance. Considering children never come naturally from a homosexual relationship, raising children will not be the original intent nor will it be a focal point of the family. A heterosexual couple on the other hand, may enter a relationship with the original goal of producing children. |

Message | The UU finds this bill contradictory to our belief that all Pontesi citizens, except for criminals, are entitled to equal treatment under the law. We also believe that it is not the state's purview to determine what constitutes the family unit or to interefere with the will of a reasonable, healthy couple to adopt a child. We will oppose this bill. |

Message | We find this bill to be unnecessarily discriminatory, based on prejudice, ignorance and stereotyping. We cannot support. |
