Bill: Full Abortion Rights

Details

Submitted by[?]: People's Progressive Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 2481

Description[?]:

We must first care for the health of our grown women, and then the fetus. If a woman desires to get an abortion at the last minute but cannot, the child will most likely be neglected by the mother and could become a criminal or start life on the wrong foot.

MessageThen let her give the baby for an adoption... Abortion on the last trimester is a murder!

MessageThe whole point here would be to both protect the mother from possible health issues should they arise, and to make sure that the child has a good home life. Besides, if the mother really wanted an abortion, she'd do it illegally using probably-non-sterile equipment and end up risking hers and her baby's life.

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context.
