Bill: Senate Resolution 40: Democratic Envisionment Plan for the Federal Republic of Solentia

Details

Submitted by[?]: Federal Independent Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2787

Description[?]:

We, the Federal Independent Party, propose to implement a party engineered and produced plan to save the democratic foundations bestowed and created by the Xzarin Catholic Party, defended by the Anti-Terrorist Intiative Party, and continued by the Federal Independent Party.

DEMOCRATIC ENVISIONMENT PLAN
______________________________

The Democratic Envisionment Plan specifically targets the following concepts:

1: To keep a democratic form of government in the Federal Republic by means of equalitive and fair representation

2: To produce a leader chosen and democratically agreed upon by inclusive parties to rule the Federal Republic through the Supreme Presidency

3: To allow each party that is willing to keep the peace of this nation a term for the Supreme Presidency

4: To continue a cycle of all parties each receiving a three year term as the Supreme President
----

Plain English:

The plan will essentially allow each party that commits to keeping democracy alive in Solentia a three year term as the Supreme President. Starting with a selected party, their candidate will be supported by ALL parties that agree to work with the DEP. After that party's term expires, a chosen next party will receive the DEP members' support. This process will continue until each party has held the Supreme Presidency ONCE. After this, the cycle will re-begin in the exact same order so that each party will hold the Supreme Presidency a second time, third time, etc.

MessageWe would propose that a Federal Independent be the first candidate supported by all the other DEP signatories and associates based on:

1) The DEP was created and thought up by the FIP
2) The FIP holds the most experience in the Supreme Presidency in the history of the Federal Republic
3) The FIP holds the most neutrality in the most recent outbreaks and problematic occurances

We feel that the DEP can and will be successful with all other party's help.

Thank you for your time. I yield the floor.

Message((OOC: I re-read my last post and couldn't bear to see a grammatical mistake that is seemingly very obvious. So I'll correct it:

We feel that the DEP can and will be successful with all other parties' help.
Edit = party's ----------> parties'

And, I think it sounds bad so I'll re-phrase it: "We feel that the DEP can and will be successful with signficant support from our fellow parties in the Senate."

All is well now!))

MessageRespected Members of The Chambers Representatives,

It should take no leap of curiosity to decipher the Federal Republican League's stance on any number of issues that are current, old or otherwise before us. The notion of rotating power is a utopian notion at best. The F.R.L. has no overwhelming objections to this albeit, we're far to the side of the skeptics on it's practicality.

Signed,
Premier of the F.R.L. Foreign Ministry; Sebastian Eugen

MessageOOC: Sorry for the double post.

Members of the Chamber,

It is the desire of the Federal Republican League's party leadership to make certain clarifications, recommendations and perhaps even contribute. As my respected Party Member, Mr. Eugen mentioned previously this Resolution, at best at some points seems too "utopian" to be grounded in practicality. The F.R.L. desires a resolution along these lines however-to be crystal clear.

Minister of Defense, F.R.L,;
Ulysses Conrad Rowlins

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Proposal One:
"To keep a democratic form of government in the Federal Republic by means of equalitive and fair representation"

The F.R.L. does, in fact, endorse this. However, it is our desire to expand on this in multiple methods. It is our belief that with the departure of the C.M.P. and P.P. and revolution in the last election-if you will; this is a time for bipartisanship and to work together to make Resolution 40 more than just hollow words.

The F.R.L's Revision:

"The Federal Republic of Solentia maintains in perpetuity that domestically and internationally will maintain a system of representative and proportional republics. The Federal Republic of Solentia maintains the desire to support and fund political or social movements which stand-up in the face of bankrupt ideological nations, fascism, dictators and all forms of oppressive rule"

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Article 3: "To allow each party that is willing to keep the peace of this nation a term for the Supreme Presidency"

The F.R.L. does not disagree with this. However, should it not be taken into account that whether we like it or not-we constantly potentially face the threat of war from rogue nations. I think a more practical rendering would be willing to be at peace at all times and not engaging actively in provoking other and creating an environment fostered for warfare and tension.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The F..R.L. has no issues with Articles 2 or 4, at all.

Signed and Endorced By,
Party Chairman, Lord Ulrich Naveed
Deputy Minister to the Party, Sir E. Tipp Wagner

MessageA ridiculous resolution! The people of Solentia must be given the opportunity to elect their supreme President, that is the point of a democratic process in the first place. It should not be left to the "Peaceful Parties" to decide who takes such a superior office.
